Project Manager

About This Role

As a Project Manager at IAT Solutions, you will lead complex IT projects for federal government clients. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while managing scope, schedule, budget, and stakeholder expectations to deliver successful outcomes for agency missions.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT project planning, execution, and delivery for federal clients
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
• Manage project scope and handle change requests effectively
• Coordinate with technical teams, stakeholders, and agency leadership
• Conduct risk assessment and develop mitigation strategies
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with federal project management standards
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and manage sprint planning

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of experience managing IT projects
• PMP certification required
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Strong understanding of federal procurement and contracting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Active Secret security clearance
• Proficiency with project management tools (MS Project, Jira)

Preferred Qualifications

• PgMP or additional PMI certifications
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe certification
• ITIL Foundation certification
• Previous experience with federal IT modernization projects
• Experience with earned value management (EVM)
